On 12 October 2021, the Shipping Deputy Minister of the Republic of Cyprus presented the new national strategy for Cyprus Shipping in an event which took place in Limassol (whereby all the Covid-19 precautions had been followed) and which was also live-streamed, with a Q&A session for journalists and audience. The attendees had the opportunity to hear from the Shipping Deputy Minister on important topics such as international regulation, seafarer welfare and the long-term sustainability of shipping. The Shipping Deputy Minister also explained the new approach, initiatives and actions of the Shipping Deputy Ministry and elaborate on the strategy plan and vision for the Cyprus Shipping.
